Service Availability
The cost of this service is $1 per stamp. Appointments must be booked in advance to ensure availability. Walk in appointments can not be accommodated.
Before Your Appointment
Please bring all documents requiring notarization unsigned. Documents must be signed in the presence of the notary.
The notary will ask for your to present a photo ID that includes a signature.
To help expedite your appointment, please have your documents organized and grouped together before you arrive.
Our notaries cannot provide legal advice or explain the contents of documents. We also cannot:
Act as an authorized representative for I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification forms.
Draft, prepare, or advise on wills, living trusts, powers of attorney, or other legal documents.
Act as a title agent, abstractor, title searcher, or real estate agent/broker.
Perform escrow services, including establishing escrow accounts or transferring funds.
Notarize driver’s licenses, birth certificates, diplomas, passports, or professional licenses (such as cosmetology, nursing, or teach licenses).
Witnesses & Parties on the Documents
Please plan to provide your own wintess should they be required for your document(s). The library cannot provide witnesses for you. All parties requried to sign the document(s) must be present.
